Floriculture in New York State

According to the USDA, National Agricultural Statistics Service, Floriculture 2010 Report:
(Report only includes operations with $10,000+ in sales and excludes production of nursery products.)

New York Floriculture production ranked 7th in the nation for the total commercial sales in 2010 with $183 million.
In 2010, there were 657 growers. (This number does not include all the retail operations.)
In 2010, the total covered area of floriculture crop production in NYS was 22.5 million square feet and the total open ground production space was 903 acres
